Moor Road was extremely icy but now passable to drive as students from the Darul Uloom Islamic School in Holcombe Brook stepped in to spread grit all the way from the Riding Stables down towards village. Thank you to staff and students for the help. ?
The grit is working. Even so, unless you are in a 4×4 it may be better to walk up to the stables if you can.
If on foot, there is also a footpath to the stables next to the Holcombe Emmanuel School. The footpath is shorter but steeper than walking up Moor Road.
When you get to the stables our volunteers have done an amazing job clearing all of the snow!
