Our helpers are a very valuable part of the Margaret Haes Riding Centre. We have many volunteers who help with a number of important jobs that help the riding centre to run smoothly. Without them we couldn’t possibly function.

What it takes to become a volunteer
We all have our reasons for wanting to volunteer. All we ask is that you give it your best. We want volunteers to have fun and we do offer a reward scheme. No experience with horses is required as we provide training and support. However, for insurance and legal reasons volunteers must be 13 years or older.
We need volunteers with a wide range of skills — not just those who help with riding – but also fundraisers, administrators, maintenance and lots more.
We need help even for as little as one hour every week.
